Disney is already warming up to launch its new section, Star, a new category within its Disney Plus subscription service that will include all those contents that are outside of what the company itself considers suitable for the little ones. Do you want to know what awaits you on February 28?
What is Star?
Star is a new section that you will find within Disney Plus. In addition to the Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic options, we will now have a new section called Disney Star in which to enjoy all this new catalog that was not available before.
It costs money?
Disney Star is part of Disney Plus, so you will only have to pay for it. Subscribe to Disney Plus to enjoy this new and extensive catalog immediately.
If I am going to have more movies… will the price of Disney Plus go up?
Exact. Taking into account that the general catalog will increase considerably with the arrival of Disney Star, the company will adjust the prices of its subscriptions after the arrival of the new section. The monthly fee will go from 6,99 euros to 8,99 Euros, while the annual one will rise from 69,99 euros to 89,90 euros per year. The only way to keep the price will be to subscribe to a whole year before the new price goes into effect.
Of course, if you are currently a subscriber, the service will respect your rate for 6 months, and it will not be until August 22, 2021 when your invoice changes with the new price, both for the monthly and annual modality.
When will Disney Star arrive?
The new section will be available in Spain, as well as in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Denmark, as well as Australia, New Zealand and Canada from February's 23.
