How to Access Hidden Netflix Categories
When you enter your Netflix profile, you have several options to find a title: either you go through the main menu and look at the suggestions of the platform according to its intelligent algorithm (which adapts to your tastes and takes into account what you have already seen) ; or you use the search engine and go to a specific content; or enter the Movies and Series sections and click on «Genders» to see what categories there are and to be able to investigate the proposals of each of them a little better.
Precisely in this last step something happens that perhaps you did not know: there are more categories than the ones that the menu shows you by default. what you are reading Netflix has an even larger number of genres that it sorts its titles by, but doesn't display (we imagine) because otherwise the list would be too long, besides (we assume) because they are genres that tend to be less in demand and popular.
Today we are going to teach you how to access this content, so that you have a wider range of categories of series, movies and documentaries in which to find what you like. Of course, the "trick" only applicable to the web version, since you need a browser in which to enter some code numbers that correspond to the indicated categories. In any case, at the end of the article we will tell you a little "trick" or advice so that you can solve this problem and you can also "use" the codes on your Smart TV.
Clarified this, the steps to follow are the following:
- Go to your Netflix profile (https://www.netflix.com) through the browser you usually use.
- Once on the main Netflix desktop, for example, click on “Series” with the mouse.
- When you are inside, you will see that the following web address appears in the browser bar «https://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/83» -In the event that you enter «Movies», the address that will appear will be «https://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/34399«.
- Click on the bar and get ready to substitute the number «83»(Or«34399«) by any of the following codes that we list a little below.
- press enter and voilà, you will be in a "hidden" category that did not appear in the Series or Movies genre menu.
