It's possibly the most intriguing series of all the titles Disney announced for this fateful year of 2020—although we won't actually see it until the beginning of 2021. Yes, we're talking about WandaVision, one of the Marvel productions coming soon to Disney+, and about which we're learning more and more details. Here's everything we know about the show starring Vision and Scarlet Witch.
WandaVision: Wanda Maximoff + Vision
One of the best pieces of news Disney and Marvel Studios could have given us was the upcoming release of the WandaVision TV series . As you know, the launch of Disney+ opens up a whole world of possibilities, not only for the release of new titles but also for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to become much larger and more complex, blending the storylines of the movies with those of the small screen.
This series, starring Scarlet Witch and Vision, will enter that very network in a few months. The creators have acknowledged drawing inspiration from more than one Marvel comic , citing titles such as Tom King's acclaimed "The Vision" (2016) and Bill Mantlo's limited series "Vision and the Scarlet Witch " (1982), among others.

Initially a villain alongside her twin brother Quicksilver, she later joined the Avengers on the side of good. During her story, she crosses paths with Vision, with whom she falls in love and eventually marries. Wanda is not a mutant, as she was initially presented, but rather the result of an experiment that grants her the ability to alter reality and cast spells.
As for Vision, his origin is much more complex. Created by Roy Thomas in the 60s, he is an android with a synthetic body generated from the robot Ultron, who eventually turns against him with the help of the Avengers. In fact, the character first appears in the Avengers comics, in issue #57, published in October 1968. His superpowers? Well, a bit of everything: he can change his density (and therefore fly), emit energy beams from his eyes, and possesses superhuman strength. The most distinctive feature of his anatomy is his red skin and the Mind Stone on his forehead.

For now, the official information we know about WandaVision tells us that we will be taken to the home of an ideal family made up of Wanda and Vision, who at some point will begin to suspect that not everything is as it seems.
From the images provided and the video previews, we know that the series will initially have a certain retro air, like the American shows or sitcoms of the 50s and 60s, a scenario that could well be an alteration of reality created by the series itself. Wanda, although it is a hypothesis that circulates on the forums and that has never been confirmed by Disney or Marvel.
As for the number of chapters, it is a mini-series with six episodes.
Change to Scarlet Witch and Vision in Spain, why?
Although the series will be called Wandavision worldwide - and we will probably continue to refer to it as such on many occasions - in Spain, the production will receive another name.
Disney+ Spain announced that in our country, the series will be available as Scarlet Witch and Vision. While they didn't elaborate much, the reason for the change stems from a rights issue with another company, a film production and distribution company called WandaFilms , which owns the WandaVision brand. This has prevented Disney from using the name we all knew the series by in Spain, forcing them to translate it.
The cast of the series
The actors who brought the main characters to life in the films we've seen in theaters are reprising their roles. Elizabeth Olsen will play Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, while Paul Bettany will reprise his role as Vision.
We also have Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau (in Captain Marvel, Akira Akbar was in charge of interpreting her as a girl while now in the series she will appear as an adult); Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis; Randall Park as FBI Agent Jimmy Woo and Kathryn Hahn in the confirmed cast.
Jac Schaeffer , who incidentally wrote the script for Black Widow , is also responsible for writing and producing this TV series.

During the last Super Bowl, Disney released a very brief teaser featuring the first glimpses of the series. It was a short preview that interspersed clips from Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki with scenes from WandaVision.

It features many new scenes (which is much appreciated) and offers a (somewhat) better understanding of the couple's journey through this rather unusual storyline. When it premieres WandaVision?
Disney confirmed that WandaVision would be released this year - although it was initially expected to premiere on the Disney+ platform in 2021 - with an undetermined date set for December.
However, the recent events surrounding the coronavirus have so disrupted the company's schedule that the release date has been pushed back to January of next year. Thus, on November 12th, it was officially announced that the game will be added to the catalog on January 15th, 2021.
