Eufy has updated its surveillance camera catalog with a rather attractive new model. It's the new eufyCam S3 Pro , a solar-powered surveillance camera that promises 365 days of autonomy thanks to its 13.000 mAh battery, and also features sensors capable of seeing clearly in the dark.
Let there be light
The new eufyCam S3 Pro features an automatically adjustable spotlight that activates the moment it detects movement. This movement is identified using radar and passive infrared sensors on the front, which, working in conjunction with a state-of-the-art algorithm, can filter out movements such as insects, rain, or wind. This prevents the LED light from turning on accidentally, eliminating 99% of false signals. All of this, combined with its sensor, produces full-color nighttime images that allow for crystal-clear visibility in the dark , ideal for detecting any kind of intrusion in the garden.
No plug needed
One of the biggest challenges when installing a security camera is finding the right place to put it. And not so much because of the area being monitored, but rather finding a power source. That problem disappears with this model, since its integrated SolarPlus 2.0 solar charging system can keep the camera powered all day with just one hour of sunlight.
If the camera doesn't receive sunlight for several days, a built-in 13.000 mAh battery will power it for up to 365 days without additional charging, although this time will vary depending on the programmed continuous monitoring period. An additional solar panel is also included, which can be placed near the device for extra recharging.
Personal and AI recordings
The advantage of Eufy surveillance systems is that they don't depend on cloud services with extra monthly fees. You can store captured videos on microSD cards or on the HomeBase network storage system , which the brand also offers.
