After seeing the great year Huawei has had , it's no surprise that expectations for the Huawei P30 are higher than ever. We all hope for a worthy successor to the P20, and the leaks only fuel this feeling. The latest? Well, here it is: all the features and the final design of the smartphone . Huawei P30: features and design
The person responsible for bringing this highly anticipated device back into the spotlight is none other than Steve H. McFly, better known by his Twitter handle, @onleaks . Thanks to him, he's led us to the exclusive report from 91mobiles , which discusses the device's features and includes a high-quality video of the renders.
The Huawei P30 is expected to feature a Kirin 980 processor with 6 or 8 GB of RAM, depending on the configuration, and 128 or 256 GB of storage. It will run Android 9 Pie, with Huawei's familiar EMUI 9 interface.
With an OLED screen and Full HD+ resolution (2.340 x 1.080 pixels), it boasts a 6-inch display (giving us a pixel density of 430 pixels per inch). As for the battery, it's a 4.000 mAh module , which seems very promising, considering the Mate 20 Pro comes with a 4.200 mAh battery and has achieved fantastic battery life.
In terms of photography, the phone will feature a triple-lens camera system with 40MP, 20MP, and 5MP sensors (with no indication that one of them will be monochrome, which would again be omitted as in the last Mate generation ). According to this information, it will have a 24MP front-facing camera.
As for the design , the images are giving you a good idea. The phone will have an all-screen front, notable for the near-disappearance of the notch , which has been replaced with a teardrop design. The back will again feature at least two colors that won't surprise us: bottle green (first seen in the aforementioned Mate series) and the distinctive shade dubbed Twilight, with an attractive and subtle pattern.
The phone's dimensions , again based on our source, will be 149,1 x 71,4 mm, with a thickness of 7,5 mm, although this will increase to 9,3 mm due to the camera bump. Regarding buttons and connectors, one thing stands out: the phone will have a 3,5 mm headphone jack , quite remarkable at a time when this connector is becoming increasingly rare.
Availability of the Huawei P30
Not only have they provided us with the phone's main technical specifications and images of the device, but we also have information about the announcement date. According to this information, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will be unveiled on March 26th , so we shouldn't expect their debut at MWC 2019 or their release before April.
