The new Asus smartphone maintains the essence of its first generation, a device with an aggressive design that, together with those lines and touches of color, make it for a very specific audience.
Terminal dimensions are 171 x 77,6 x 9,5 mm and has a weight of 240 grams. It does not differ from what we have been able to see in other terminals, whether they have a more gaming profile or not. And if it feels like its previous model in the hand, it won't be uncomfortable despite its size. But if something is going to stand out next to your internet hardware, it is the screen.
Asus has decided to mount a 6,59-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2.340 x 1.080 pixels and a 19,5:9 aspect ratio. The screen offers HDR10 support and also a maximum refresh rate that can reach 120Hz. If the Oneplis 7 Pro screen was already spectacular, we imagine that this will be even more so. At least in that fluidity section, another thing will be the calibration, brightness and viewing angles.
The team also arrives with a Snapdragon 855+ processor, 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.0 storage memory. At the camera level, it has a 49-megapixel main sensor plus another 13. And on the front, a 24 MP camera.
As extras, the Rog Phone II includes fingerprint reader integrated in the screen, 3,5 mm jack, vapor chamber cooling, two USB C ports and a front speaker plus NFC and BT 5.0 connectivity.
With this plus version of Qualcomm's popular Snapdragon 855, Asus seeks to offer a better experience and performance. According to them, at the GPU level they achieve 15% more performance.
The new device will be Available from September at a price that has not yet been confirmed. If we take into account the more than 900 euros that its first version cost, we could say that it will be close. Also comment that it will come accompanied by a wide variety of accessories.
