Today we'll finally meet the other big star of the foldable spectacle. We're talking about none other than the leaked Huawei Mate X 5G , the company's first foldable phone, which has arrived in Barcelona to reveal its design and features for the first time.
How to watch the Huawei Mate X presentation live at MWC 2019
The appointment will be today at 14:00 p.m. local time, a conference that you can watch live thanks to the streaming that we leave you below. The brand is expected to present the foldable device and go into details related to its screen, its interface, its processor and battery and, hopefully, its price and official launch date.

With the Galaxy Fold already scheduled for release on April 23rd, it remains to be seen when Huawei will dare to market its foldable offering , a device that, as we've seen thanks to leaked advertising, appears to offer certain aesthetic improvements over the Galaxy Fold. This decision raises some questions for us on both sides, so we'll wait until we can get our hands on both devices before drawing any conclusions.
Why the Galaxy Fold has a problem with the Huawei Mate X (or maybe it's the opposite)But be that as it may, we are looking forward to seeing the new house phone in action. Do not expect to see the new P30, since the brand has cited the media a few weeks later for that purpose. Tomorrow will be a day of folding screens, and possibly a lot of 5G connectivity, so be prepared and pay close attention, as it may happen like Samsung, and once shown, we will not see the device again for a long time.
The first foldable 5G phone
The leaked promotional poster made it very clear what the essential features of Huawei's new device will be. 5G will be a key focus of the presentation, although we have no doubt that it will be a recurring theme throughout the trade show. The most interesting aspect will undoubtedly be the flexible nature of the screen, something that, combined with 5G, will drive the price to quite dangerous levels. So, will Huawei be able to surpass Samsung's $1.800 Galaxy Fold price tag?
In a few hours we will leave doubts.
? Being in the right place at the right time.
