Taking advantage of the presentation of the Z5s in China, Lenovo has wanted to announce a new version of its brand new Z5 Pro, a new model that still looks the same but hides potential inside that will immediately catch your eye. To begin with, the manufacturer has set itself the goal of mounting the new Snapdragon 855, accompanying him with nothing less than 12 GB of RAM y 512 GB of storage.

The changes introduced are much more than a simple update, since it is expected that the performance of the phone will change drastically compared to the previous version. To give us an idea, Lenovo has shown a performance table based on AnTuTu tests where the new Z5 Pro GT is placed at the top of the table, surpassing the very iPhone XS.
The pair formed by the processor and the 12 GB of RAM LPDDR4X will allow the terminal to be placed as one of the most powerful phones on the market (you just have to see the table), although its reign could be short, since the manufacturer has confirmed that its launch in China will not take place until January 24 , moment in which the rest of the manufacturers could also have their offensive prepared with the new brain of Qualcomm.
Although everything indicates that Lenovo's new device will be the first on the market to arrive with Snapdragon 855. In addition to the powerful brain, the phone would have two 24 and 16 megapixel sensors from Sony that will take care of the photographic aspect, while the front cameras will be made up of 16 and 8 megapixel sensors, both being hidden thanks to the sliding screen system that you can see in the official images. This system also allows for a very large screen surface, with the panel occupying almost the entire front of the device.
Price and release date of the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT
The phone will arrive in China on January 24 with prices that will vary depending on the RAM and storage offered. These are the announced versions:
- 6 GB RAM + 128 GB – 2.698 Chinese yuan (about 340 euros)
- 8 GB RAM + 128 GB – 2.998 Chinese yuan (about 380 euros)
- 8 GB RAM + 256 GB – 3.998 Chinese yuan (about 500 euros)
- 12 GB RAM + 512 GB – 4.398 Chinese yuan (about 555 euros)
