The wait is almost over for you to say goodbye to the MIUI interface and make the leap to the new and improved HyperOS , the operating system Xiaomi has prepared for its devices. But to do so, you'll first need a compatible device, as the manufacturer has announced the list of devices that will be able to update in the first quarter of 2024.
HyperOS Compatible Models
In a post on X, the brand announced that a select group of users will receive an OTA update starting today , allowing them to update their devices and test the new features immediately. This select group will serve as a testing unit to confirm system stability and identify any potential bugs.
The official release of the update will not happen until the first quarter of 2024 , so we will still have to wait a few weeks to be able to update the device if we have not entered into that group that will receive the test OTA.
The devices that can be updated to HyperOS are the following:
- Xiaomi 13Ultra
- Xiaomi 13 Pro
- Xiaomi 13
- Xiaomi 13t pro
- Xiaomi 13t
- Redmi Note 12
- Redmi Notes 12S
- Xiaomi pad 6
What if my phone is not on that list?
If your device is not listed above, don't worry. This is a first batch of updates, and the idea is that the manufacturer will roll out the update to more models progressively as the year progresses. If you want to clear up your doubts, we leave you with a list that was leaked a few weeks ago, which specifies all the models that Xiaomi will update to HyperOS at some point in the year.
Since the list hasn't been confirmed, you should take this information with a grain of salt, as it's quite possible that some models may be dropped from the final decision. These are all the models that are supposedly going to be updated to HyperOS in 2024:
