Yes, many are already looking at the EMUI 10 beta, but others are still waiting for their phone to update to a previous version, EMUI 9.1. If this is your case, today we have good news to give you: the update to said package has already started and we have located the 8 phones that are inside the bag. Continue reading and we will give you all the details.
New phones that will update to EMUI 9.1
Although HarmonyOS has taken center stage lately, Huawei continues to work on EMUI, the Android-based environment used by its mobile phones. Relatively recently we told you that the EMUI 10 beta already had its first arrival dates, but, as we pointed out a little above, there are still owners who are waiting impatiently for their home smartphones to update to the version 9.1 of the System.
This wait could finally end soon. After a wave that occurred in the month of June that monopolized some phones of the Mate 10 family, of the P20 range and even several Nova, Huawei has launched a new global update process to release the stable version of EMUI 9.1. Specifically, there are 8 terminals that enter the bag this time and that have started getting notice of a new package via OTA available. They are the following -by clicking on the names you can consult their technical sheets with all their specifications-:
- Huawei Mate 9
- Huawei Mate 9 Pro
- Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design
- Huawei P10
- Huawei P10 Plus
- Huawei Nova 2S
- Honor V9
- Honor 9
Of course, the update, for the moment, has only been allowed to hunt in Chinese territory. The rest of the countries do not currently have notifications in this regard, but given the starting gun in Asia, it will be a matter of very little that these phones in other regions of the world (including Spain) receive EMUI 9.1.
EMUI 9.1: main improvements
Although these are not especially striking new features at first glance, the improvements that come with EMUI 9.1 are quite important and will significantly influence the performance of your phone. That's thanks to a new compiler (Ark) that helps everything go much smoother (24%, ensures the firm) and with superior performance. There are also other important internal changes (at the Android file level) that ultimately result in a phone reading speed 20% higher than today. Do you usually play with your team? Then you'll notice it too: the update brings with it Game Turbo 3.0, a graphic accelerator.
Own environment The system has also changed slightly, with new icons and a more simplified look (even in the configuration tools), as well as better support for gestures so that they are more intuitive to the user. It also includes improved support for PC Continuity, enhanced AR functions and even new ringtones and sounds for the mobile - to add that is not missing. In short, specific and determining adjustments that will make the final user experience much better.
Patience. Surely in a very short time it will be knocking on your door.
