Tired of having friends who they are still clinging to WhatsApp and they don't want to enter your Telegram group? Don't worry, all this is going to change, although be careful, they will still be in the Facebook application. And as has been seen in the new beta, the most popular messaging application is preparing a function with which be able to send messages to Telegram and other courier services. How is this possible?
Obliged by the EU

It's all due to European Union regulations that seek to control competition with the Digital Markets Law. Taking into account the gigantic power of WhatsApp with its endless list of users, the EU wants this massive control of users not to become a closed circle, and that is why wants communication to be open and available through other means.
This means that, as a WhatsApp user, you should not be forced to speak only with users of the same platform, but rather you should have the option of speaking to another user of another type of service. This is obviously not possible currently, which is why the company is already working on implementing an option that allows it.
First track in beta
That is exactly what has been seen in the new beta for Android, the version 2.23.19.8, which has included a new menu where all chats belonging to third-party applications can be archived. With this it is understood that, next to the usual chats, there will be a new menu or tab where the chats of people who are using other services will be stored.
WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.19.8: what's new?

Who will I be able to talk to?

At the moment it is unknown which services will be included in this compatibility setting. It is understood that Telegram It will be one of them because it is one of the large messaging services, but it is not known exactly which others will be present (probably Signal be another of them).
The interesting thing about this is that the function will allow communication between two people when one of them does not even have a WhatsApp account created. The question that arises now is related to security, since WhatsApp offered end-to-end encryption between the users who create the chat, and this means of communication could avoid this security method. We'll see if they can solve it.
Can it be tested?
The feature is currently in development, and cannot be tested. It is also useless that you have access to the betas, since for now the only thing that can be verified is the existence of the new menu, so it is not yet possible to transfer Matrix and communicate to the other side.
