Initial Release: Tribute to Ferrari Heritage

The first product available (it was launched a couple of days ago, on April 7th) is a commemorative set of two vehicles which can book now exclusively from the Mattel Creations website. This set stands out for the inclusion of the Ferrari 312P, a replica of the first Ferrari model released by Hot Wheels in 1970, finished in silver Spectraflame red paint and Neo-Classics Redline wheels. It is accompanied by the Ferrari 499P Modificata, inspired by the model that recently won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, also decorated with spectacular details and Real Riders wheels.

Roberto Stanichi, Executive Vice President of Hot Wheels and Director of Vehicles and Construction Sets at Mattel, emphasized that this line has been designed with all audiences in mind: from Ferrari enthusiasts with years of experience to young people interested in the world of motorsports. The goal is to facilitate access to the Ferrari universe through an accessible, collectible and highly detailed format.

The project also highlights the meticulous design work by the Mattel team, which has managed to faithfully reproduce the proportions, colors, and materials characteristic of the original vehicles. The new product line integrates iconic vehicles which reflect quite well both the sporting DNA and the history of Ferrari, with die-cast metal chassis and body, Real Riders wheels and special finishes such as Spectraflame paint.
