We have a new set in the LEGO family. The famous company has announced The Lord of the Rings: The Shire, a faithful recreation of the hobbits' home in Middle-earth that becomes part of the Icons family. To commemorate this launch, the company has also produced a exclusive short narrated by Sean Astin, actor who played Samwise Gamgee in the famous film trilogy.
A very special short film
The short film, made in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, is a visual homage to the history and aesthetics of the films directed by Peter Jackson and shows us Astin touring and exploring details of the set while reliving memorable moments from the saga while echoing the iconic Osgiliath's monologue.
Sean Astin has been quite excited about this new collaboration with LEGO, stating that the construction of this set has brought back very good memories of his time in Middle-earth. Without a doubt, the combination of the detail in the recreation of The Shire and the actor's narration in the short film makes this release a very tempting proposition for both coleccionistas as if to followers of the saga.
