Miyamoto, the creator of the character - and who you can see in the video below - has assured that the experience will be suitable even for those who are not very fond of traditional roller coasters, as it is an attraction designed to be enjoyed by the whole family.
They can also be found in the area rhythm mini games inspired by the classic donkey konga GameCube, where up to three players can play giant drums to unlock surprises hidden in the park, and dining areas, of course, perfectly decorated and with delicacies inspired once again by the characters from the games. There is also an exclusive store called Funky's Fly 'n' Buy, with all kinds of official merchandising and will delight collectors.
Expansion to other parks
Although for now the Donkey Kong area will only open in Japan - whose park opened in 2021, being a huge success - its arrival at the park has already been confirmed.
