Doom Patrol, a new DC Comics series difficult to define

DC Comics He has a new series on his hands and he is anything but normal. At least that is what we can intuit after seeing its first advance, a official teaser which has just been released to the delight of fans of the DC universe. Ready to take a look at Doom Patrol?

Teaser: the Doomed patrol it's here

DC is preparing a new superhero television series (or rather? antiheroes?) and today he has delighted us with his first advance. It is nothing more than a teaser in which it is possible to have a first contact with the characters and that has probably been launched using Christmas as an excuse - and thus some expectation is created.

Doom Patrol, the Doomed patrol, is based on the DC Comics superhero team and will be released in 2019 within DC Universe. This platform is the video-on-demand service of DC Entertainment and Warner Bros and, although it was announced in 2017, it was not launched until almost exactly a year later, in May of this same 2018.

Some protagonists of the new series have already appeared in one of the episodes of Titans, DC's other great bet -in fact, the cover image belongs to that moment-, but now we have the opportunity to see them in full (and better). We thus meet crazy jane (starring Diane Guerrero), Cyborg (Joivan Wade), Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby) robot man (Brendan Fraser) Negative Man (Matt Bomer) and even with «The boss«, played by Timothy Dalton -although his appearance is limited to a photo.

As you probably know -and if not, we'll tell you right now-, the story of Doom Patrols introduces us to a team of people who suffer a series of accidents that, in addition to leaving them with physical sequelae in some very notable cases, endows them with superhuman abilities. The Chief is in charge of bringing us together and giving them a new meaning to their lives, giving them self-esteem and a new meaning to their existence by entrusting them with the mission of protecting our planet Earth.

In addition to the video that you have a little above, the first official images promotional, consisting of retro aesthetic posters of each of the characters. We leave them all in the following gallery -click on the side arrows to scroll through them-:

As well indicated in His house, those of us outside the US will also be able to enjoy this series, since it is expected that Doom Patrol reach markets like Spain through other content platforms (for example Netflix or Amazon). In the meantime, there is no other choice but to wait watching his teaser on a loop.
