Disney has taken pity on our souls (and our burning desire ) and decided to share the first images of The Mandalorian Season 2 with us . Just a few days ago, they announced the release date for the new season, and now they've delighted us with a good number of images, which they exclusively provided to a US media outlet to share with the world. Get comfortable, because there are several, and we promise you'll love them all.

We've spent many months wondering exactly when the second season of The Mandalorian would arrive . We had Disney's promise that it would be in the fall; we knew it had to coincide more or less with the series' premiere in 2019; and we had the assurance that the pandemic hadn't affected their schedule, since the first and second seasons were filmed back-to-back, with complete confidence in the format.
And yet, we still had no clear answer. The trailer still hadn't been released (and still hasn't), and the specific release date remained up in the air. Until just a few days ago. The company behind the most famous mouse of all time announced that The Mandalorian 2 will arrive on October 30th , and to accompany this announcement, they granted Entertainment Weekly an exclusive interview featuring a good number of new photos .
It's still not the long-awaited teaser video we all want, but at least it helps calm our curiosity while making us think that the trailer is quite possibly on the way.

The EW photo report , accompanied by statements from director and executive producer Dave Filoni, showrunner Jon Favreau, and even some of the actors, is full of new photos from the second season of the Disney+ series.
In them, we can see the Mandalorian again alongside his faithful companion Baby Yoda, as well as the warrior riding a speeder bike. Images of Cara Dune, Greef Karga (whose presence we confirmed relatively recently), and the villainous Moff Gideon are also featured.
The interview also features two covers : one in which Baby Yoda is the absolute protagonist of the image and another in which we see him hand in hand with the creature The Child in its sack - both are shown with the copyright symbol, so you will have to access the website to see them (in Source).
This teaser is certainly a welcome tidbit, helping to calm our nerves while we await the trailer , which is still nowhere to be seen. As you may recall, the plan was to release it in mid-August, but at the last minute, those plans were changed, and to this day, we still haven't heard anything about the highly anticipated trailer.
Will these images be the prelude to an imminent premiere of the video? We have no choice but to wait for the next few days to verify it. Just in case, cross your fingers.
