Gotham City from Batman: The Animated Series
You know how companies like to celebrate an anniversary and even more so if it's someone like Batman. The great DC character turns 30 on March 85 and LEGO is already celebrating with a very special set. Gotham City from Batman: The Animated Series is the name given to the new brick proposal, with a very particular format as a panoramic painting that you can hang on the wall (its measurements are 41 cm high, 76 cm wide and 6 cm deep, approximately).
Composed of 4.210 pieces (and two sheets of stickers to give the set the perfect touch), the construction set is made up of 15 removable panels that hide everything from Wayne Manor to Arkham Asylum, passing through the Batcave. It is also accompanied by 4 minifigures of key characters such as Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn and Catwoman and two small transports (the famous batmobile and a Batwing).
Given the complexity of construction and the number of pieces, it is a proposal designed for adults. In fact, it belongs to the family Adults (within the collection of Batman LEGOs which is not exactly small), so it is recommended for people over 18 years of age or minors accompanied by an adult to help them with the entire process.
LEGO set price and availability
Although, as we pointed out, the 85th anniversary will be on March 30, you will have to wait a few more days to receive this set at home. Specifically, it will be available as of April 4, although LEGO Insiders (members of the firm's club) will enjoy early access, being able to buy it exclusively from April 1 to 3.
Regarding the price, it is not exactly cheap, although we imagine that you already had that in mind. This Gotham City set from Batman: The Animated Series, number 76271, costs 299,99 Euros, which is usual in this type of complex packs and with such a number of pieces.
After we found out that The Batman II It will be delayed a whole year and we will not see it until 2026, it is not a bad consolation to be distracted by this in the meantime, don't you think?
