An fried pizza-quesadilla with chicken, barbecue sauce and pepperoni has half the internet gawking (and divided). The video of how this curious recipe is prepared has spread like wildfire on social networks and best of all, it has aroused all kinds of opinions. So much so that at the moment the recording occupies the covers of a good amount of media. What will this have? recipe so we're all talking about her right now?
The pizza-quesadilla of discord
The fast-motion video recipes -like "Tasty"- were a real tree a while ago and they still continue to be a type of content that is shared quite frequently and captivates people. That is precisely the format of the famous pizza-quesadilla that concerns us today, whose preparation was recorded by the people of Twisted Food, a British recipe and news website related to the culinary world. Possibly those responsible for this page did not imagine that the dish would become something viral -or who knows, maybe everything is more than thought-, however, at the moment his "pizzadilla" is the subject of debate on the main social networks.
The reason? The number of steps that the recipe implies (not at all common in this type of video) and the numerous mixtures y twists of screw that is given to the ingredients until reaching the final dish. So much so that some have baptized it as the phenomenon «frankenfood«, a concept that uses The Guardian while Time he prefers to describe it as the "controversial pizza quesadilla." Seriously, when you think it's ready...mistake!, you can still add more sauce, cheese or whatever you have on hand.
And it is that almost looks like a parody of a recipe really: in (very) broad strokes, you start with a good amount of spices in which chicken is marinated and baked; the resulting one is mixed with various types of onion and barbecue sauce and once well integrated everything is arranged between Mexican pancakes with cheese. Not content with that, after cooling for an hour, it is divided into portions (as if they were pizza) that are passed, one by one, through flour, egg and breadcrumbs, to be later fried. After that, pizza tomato, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni are poured on top and it is heated again. Now all that remains is to serve one portion and dip it, of course, in another yogurt sauce, mayonnaise and several other ingredients, which is also explained in the video. Did you just get digested just reading it? Well, wait until you see the video:

As you can read in the tweet (one of the most shared), its author says that "he is calling the FBI". It is just one of the many jokes and comments that have been made about the recipe in the last few hours, with people really amazed by the procedure and detractors who consider it almost an insult to gastronomy - always from the humor, clear-:
Your cooks were so concerned with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

En The guardian calculate that the dish should easily have a few 7.200 calories. This online recipe thing has definitely gotten out of hand, but the question here is, would you dare to try it? You are already taking time to get hold of your Thermomix robot.
