The Avengers: Endgame craze has begun. As we told you earlier this week, tickets for the April 25th premiere went on sale worldwide , and Marvel set up a website where you can easily find your nearest theater. Easy, right? Well, not for some.
Reselling tickets for Avengers: Endgame
Unfortunately, many people are running out of being able to get their tickets for the opening day, so others have decided to sell theirs with the idea of making a profit with the operation. Things could be more or less normal if we were talking about reasonable figures, however, it seems that in some cities around the world the craze to attend the premiere of the end of the Marvel saga as soon as possible is reaching completely absurd levels.

All we have to do is head over to eBay to see some of the deals going on, where people are asking a whopping $5.000 for two tickets to a session on April 28 (which isn't even the premiere date) at AMC movie theater on 84th street and XNUMXth avenue in NYC.
Bidding appears to be averaging around $300 per ticket, and while we don't currently see any multi-figure bids, we did find some for $99, offering two tickets to the AMC with Dolby Cinema in Long Branch, NJ. The buy-it-now price for this offer is $5.000, though it seems someone has opted to start by bidding at the lowest amount.

Two tickets for $15.000
But one case that has garnered considerable attention is that of two tickets for the April 26th showing at 15:40 PM at the AMC Dine-In in West Orange, New Jersey. According to eBay records, someone paid the $15.000 buy-it-now option offered in an auction that started at $2.500. It seems the buyer was concerned about the tickets' availability, so they opted for the guaranteed purchase. This theater is known for offering food and drinks while watching the movie, thanks to its on-site catering service.
Another sale we found ended for the 22-movie marathon at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. This two-day marathon lets viewers watch all 22 films related to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Avengers saga in one sitting. The ticket includes seven meals, a blanket, two bags of popcorn, three drinks, a gift, and several other perks (including the screening of Avengers: Endgame, of course). Sounds like a complete package, right? The person who paid $499 for the ticket certainly thought so.
