They changed a scene in the trailer for Falcon and the Winter Soldier, why?

Baron Zemo - Falcon and the Winter Soldier

If you are very marvel fan, you may have seen the trailer of Falcon and the Winter Soldier up several times and even with those, you probably haven't realized that there is a scene that has changed compared to the first advance that they offered us. Do you want to know what moment it is? Get comfortable and keep reading.

The next big MCU series

Once we say goodbye to Scarlet Witch and Vision -You know that no matter how painful it is, the moment will come- we will at least have the consolation of a new series on Disney+ that will continue within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We refer, of course, to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Falcon and the Winter Soldier in Spanish), which will arrive from March 19 to tell us what has become of these two characters after the events that occurred in Avengers: Endgame.

As we saw in the preview, we will see how the life of these two avengers is and the relationship they have between them, not especially good, at least at the beginning of the season as we have seen in the images. In them we have also been able to see some of the villains who will have a leading role in this new fiction, where it is worth noting the appearance of Baron Zemo.

Baron Zemo - Falcon and Winter Soldier

And we're not just saying that because of his importance as a character: it turns out that he stars in a scene that has changed from the first video trailer we saw in December. What is this modification due to?

The Sokovia statue does not look the same

People Directly has been in charge of echoing the astute view of a user of Reddit. "manbeer0071995", which is his name, indicated in this forum that there was a scene in the new trailer which was not exactly the same as the one shown in the first preview provided by Disney.

It is about the moment in which Baron Zemo visits a statue in Sokovia (which could be in memory of those who died during the attack of Ultron in the country). In the preview of December, the stone tribute is shown with many flowers and other details surely left by citizens to pay tribute to the victims -minute 0:41. In the second, however, the area seems more urbanized (first there was dirt and now cobblestones) and there are no objects on the ground -minute 0:32. Even the statue looks more defined and detailed.

Baron Zemo - Falcon and the Winter Soldier

The sequence is the same, so clearly Disney and Marvel have it. modified by CGI and we imagine that it will be the one we will finally see in the series when this moment occurs.

What is not known is exactly why this change. It could simply be a visual effects enhancement by the team that was already planned but not included in the first trailer, or perhaps, as Direct indicates, this is a decision by Marvel Studios to portray Sokovia as a more established state that has managed to rebuild itself in the years after Ultron's battle.

It should not be, a priori, something decisive in the plot of this new series, but the change of scenery is still curious. And you, have you noticed the differences?
