Marvel's most ambitious film
Tom Holland is still in the process of filming Spider-Man 3. This tape, still without an official name, will close the Spider-Man trilogy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and since it was announced it has been involved in a multitude of rumors, leaks and theories about what we will see in it.
It is not for less. The film should be one of the key feature films of the MCU Phase 4 with a Spider-Man who is called to collect the spiritual witness of Tony Stark to lead the new generations. Therefore, it is normal that we expect something quite epic from Marvel Studios, something that the British actor himself has been in charge of confirming (feeding our hype) in an interview granted to Vanity Fair.
In it, Holland points out that his film is the more ambitious that a superhero has never been made as an independent protagonist and that still hallucinates with the fact that he is the protagonist:
I can say that it is the most ambitious independent superhero movie ever made. You sit down, you read the script and you see what they're trying to do and they're succeeding. It is really impressive. I have never seen an independent superhero movie like this. And I'm, you know, again, that lucky little guy who happens to be Spider-Man. We still have much more to do. We started before Christmas and recorded for seven weeks. We stopped for the Christmas holidays and then started again. I'm just as excited as everyone else to see it, and to be a part of it.
He is not the only "headline" that the young actor leaves us. And it is that he has also had time to talk about the leaks that point to a return of the previous Spider-Man.
Garfield, Maguire and Dunst?
The American medium takes advantage of the conversation with Holland to put a trick on one of the key themes of this film: the return of the two previous Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield and Toby Maguire) and the participation of Kirsten Dunst. To do this, the publication asks the actor when was the last time he met them, to which good Tom replies that he has never met Dunst in person, that he has seen Garfield at some BAFTA awards and that He has coincided with Maguire -image below these lines- at various parties in Los Angeles. oh! Variety she is not satisfied with this answer and returns to the charge, already with the cards on the table, asking for the appearance of this trio in Spider-Man 3, to which the actor insists that he still doesn't know anything about it:

Holland has a reputation for being quite the crazy head with filming secrets, so you could simply be "short-tied" by your agents (and even under contract) not to give anything away.
