the rumor of The return of Kill Bill is still alive today and is that Tarantino has never 100% ruled out the possibility of shooting a third part. Surely these days you have also heard about the film again and it is that some statements have pointed directly to Zendaya (which we will see at the end of the year in the cinema with the adaptation of Dune, ) as one of its protagonists. In what role? How did all this scramble come about? And, above all, what is true or probable in all this?
Kill Bill, one of Tarantino's most famous films
We are not going to discover anything new to you at this point if we tell you that Kill Bill It is one of Quentin Tarantino's most famous films. Despite having been released in two parts, Kill Bill Volume 1 y Kill Bill Volume 2, the eccentric director has always defended that it is a single film that tells the revenge story of a woman, the Bride (starring Uma Thurman), whose life is literally destroyed on her wedding day. During the two parts we will see how the protagonist will make a journey through all the necessary corners of the world to annihilate all the people who were part of that macabre day until reaching her final objective: her ex-boyfriend Bill hers.
Tarantino's proposal was a real success at the box office, thanks to its original combination of genres, with tributes to the spaghetti western and to the movies of martial arts and the oriental world. For many it remains today one of Quentin's best ideas and a good reflection of the director's style.

With Volume 2, the story actually closed and left us all alone, however, it is true that there was always a small open plot which dropped the possibility that it served as the origin for a Volume 3. Do you already know what we mean? Yeah, the revenge of Verita Green's daughter, whom the Bride killed in front of her on her way back from school. The girl would have grown up enough to seek revenge and we even have a candidate to play her: the great Zenzaya.
Kill Bill Volume 3 with Zendaya?
To remember the scene you have to go to the Volume 1 of Kill Bill. At one point in the film we see how the Bride arrives in Pasadena, California, and knocks on the door of the typical American neighborhood house. She answers the door Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox), who recognizes her right away. Both begin to fight throughout the house until Nikki Bell, Vernita's youngest daughter, arrives from school. The two women stop in order to hide and go to the kitchen to drink coffee. But at one point Vernita tries to shoot the Girlfriend and she ends up defending herself from her and killing her, with the bad luck that Nikki has been watching everything from the door in amazement.
The Bride apologizes to the girl for what happened and tells her that if she continues to feel angry about what happened when she grows up, she will be waiting for her. Can there be a better breeding ground for a third party?
This possibility was already known to all of us who are fans of Kill Bill since Tarantino has never denied his idea of making a Volume 3 with Nikki's revenge, but lately there have been several comments that have been made about this return. First it was the director himself, who at the end of 2019 recognized having spoken with Uma Thurman about a third part and that it was something that was not ruled out.

Then it was Vivica A. Fox herself who spoke out, a couple of months ago (although now some media are echoing it), indicating in a interview that the original actress who played his daughter would not play Nikki and that Tarantino should undoubtedly call Zendaya for the role.

Now the one who talked about the subject is the actress of the future Dune, and the great series Euphoria (among others), who has acknowledged in an interview with Empire that he was aware of the comments and that it had been a real honor that Vivica proposed her. Even so, Zendaya -on these lines- acknowledges that she is "just an idea", so he does not confirm that he has been in conversations for the role - he does not deny it either, everything must be said.
There is therefore no confirmed data in this regard and we do not even have a sure proof that Tarantino is already with the project on the table. As Zendaya herself said in the aforementioned interview, the internet is like that…
