The laying of the foundation stone Celta360 brought together top-level institutional representatives, such as the president of the Xunta de Galicia and the Minister of Education, as well as the club's president, Marian Mouriño, and the top executives of Metrodora and related strategic partners. The event symbolized the official start of a new era for the Afouteza sports city and its university outreach, which now takes on the name and identity of Celta360.
A pioneering academic space in Galicia

El private university campus to be developed by Metrodora will occupy about Sqm 4.000 of the more than 30 hectares that make up the Celta360 macro-complex. This is the Galicia's first specialized campus entirely in the fields of sport, health, and technology, a significant milestone for the autonomous community and the European sports ecosystem.
The selection of Metrodora as exclusive educational partner highlights its recognition in the management and design of advanced training projects. This campus will offer more than 1.000 places oriented towards specialized higher education, in state-of-the-art facilities adapted to the needs and trends of current education, where the innovation and employability have a prominent weight.
Marian Mouriño, president of RC Celta, emphasized the importance of having its own educational space: "We want to prepare the best professionals in the sports and healthcare sectors, providing them with the necessary tools to adapt to changes and contribute to the economic and social growth of Galicia."
From Metrodora, Jordi Roche, president of the entity, highlighted that the campus will be a true talent attraction engine and a key support for economic development and regional well-being, while Hector martinez, CEO, highlighted the honor it is for the group to participate alongside RC Celta in such an ambitious project.
Training offer and roadmap of the new campus
