Surely you remember the strange collaboration announced between Samsung and "Supreme Italy" last December. The South Korean firm left us all quite surprised with this agreement given that the brand with which it was preparing to work was nothing more than a "clone" which takes advantage of the original American firm to sell. And, of course, something like that could only have one end...
Goodbye Samsung X Supreme Italy
Last December Samsung held an event in China where, in addition to presenting the Galaxy A8 phones, announced a collaboration that no one expected. It was about a deal with supreme, although not with the American brand, but with a signature "clone" called Supreme Italia which benefits from certain legal loopholes related to the fact that the original headquarters have never registered its trademark.
Obviously, this detail did not go unnoticed by many, who immediately rushed to question this collaboration and wonder what Samsung was thinking to close such an agreement with a company of this type -in fact, Supreme Italia is currently accused of plagiarism and intellectual property violation

Such was the commotion that even the Chinese division of the telephone company had to defend himself, making excuses for the fact that Supreme US is not authorized to sell and market in the Asian country and that, indeed, they were collaborating with Supreme Italia, not with Supreme - these statements were later mysteriously eliminated.
Such an excuse, however, was not worth much to those of Samsung, who shortly after had to rectify, announcing that they were going to reassess what advantages the agreement entailed and that he was very sorry for "the inconvenience caused".

Now everything comes to an end with the confirmation that the collaboration between both firms has ended. The people of Engadget in Chinese has been in charge of launching the news, collecting a brief statement from the smartphone company in which it indicates the following:
Samsung Electronics had previously mentioned a collaboration with Supreme Italia at the Galaxy A8s launch event in China on December 10. Samsung Electronics has now decided to end this collaboration.
We are glad to see that Samsung has finally reconsidered - even if it means starring in one of the technological collaborations more fleeting that are remembered - since this would only have had very negative consequences for his current image. if you wanted a Samsung phone with Supreme logo… you will have to wait sitting down. We're sorry.
