Elon Musk's new super rocket looks like something out of the adventures of Tintin

As always, Elon Musk has used the immense platform of Twitter to address his fans and share upcoming news from his companies. This time, it was SpaceX's turn, as Musk revealed the first photograph of the Starship, the rocket that will carry passengers to Mars.

As you can see, the design of the rocket is so strange that Elon Musk has had to specify that it is a completely real design already assembled and not a computer recreation. The lines and design are quite striking, as the rocket looks like a giant bullet with perfect edges, a design very similar to rockets in black and white movies or cartoons.

Formerly known as Big Falcon , this first model will be used for suborbital VTOL (vertical landing) tests similar to those of the Falcon 9, and it has been clarified that the orbital version will be taller, with a thicker heat shield that does not leave wrinkles like the ones you see and with a less pronounced upper curve that will leave a more rounded tip.

The aircraft is already assembled at the Texas airbase, waiting to begin takeoff and landing tests. As can be seen thanks to the mannequin in the image that accompanies the rocket, the size of the aircraft is enormous, although nothing better as a video of the area to verify its immensity.

Anyone would say that SpaceX engineers have been inspired by the Tintin novels or the comics of the late 40s...
