Official trailer for season 2
It was a matter of little that the final trailer for the second installment of House of the Dragon saw the light and here we finally have it. A few weeks ago, HBO Max had already delighted us with a teaser with which we could whet our appetites, but without a doubt its final trailer brings us many more new scenes and information about how the sides are facing a war that feels more imminent than ever.
As you well know, HBO Max will be renamed Max starting next week, so it is not surprising that it is clinging to this type of announcement (the other was the premiere of Dunes: Part 2 on its platform) to make noise and have the renewed service more on the radar.
Will 17 June, in almost a month, when the new season arrives in Max's catalog to the delight of everyone, thus being able to continue this great series that, against all odds, has ended up being a real success - the fatigue of Game of Thrones It hasn't made a dent.
What can we expect from this installment
Everything seems to indicate that the second season will be full of many more action (and blood) than the first. As those responsible for it have indicated on more than one occasion, the first was in charge of putting the cards on the table and making the opportunity presentations, as well as establishing the complex family dynamics that occur in this story.
Now the good is coming, with the beginning of a war that will confront Rhaenyra and her supporters (the black ones) and Aegon Targaryen along with his mother Alicent and those who consider him to be the legitimate heir to the Iron Throne. In the book, the battle lasts for years, so it is very likely that the fight between dragons It starts but by no means ends in this season, extending the third and who knows if the fourth - these are the deliveries in principle planned for this epic series.
One of the production's scriptwriters was already in charge of raising the hyping ensuring that the second season will not disappoint anyone, especially fans of the books George RR Martin, so some entertaining, very entertaining chapters await us.
Amongst the new faces who join by the way, we have Abubakar Salim as Alyn of Hull, Gayle Rankin as Alys Rivers, Freddie Fox in the role of Ser Gwayne Hightower, Simon Russell Beale as Ser Simon Strong, Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull, Jamie Kenna playing Ser Alfred Broome, Kieran Bew as Hugh, Tom Bennett as Ulf, Tom Taylor as Lord Cregan Stark and Vincent Regan as Ser Rickard Thorne.
We can't wait for June 17th to arrive...
