The fourth generation of the famous Insta360 360 camera is here. Great improvements but without much progress
The list of specifications reveals a new camera that has managed to improve aspects, but has not introduced major changes. The Insta360 X3 already offered quite spectacular image quality, with a waterproof body and a large integrated screen. The new X4, for its part, offers practically the same, making the leap to the recording in 8K resolution at 30 images per second.
This new possibility now allows, thanks to the new processor, to record 360-degree video in quality. 5,4K at 60 images per second, which will offer much sharper images that will look especially good in sports and high-action actions.
The single camera mode is also improved, reaching the 4K at 60 images per second, which allows you to have a video in traditional format in 4K quality with great fluidity (previously only up to 30 fps).
A great change that protects
Where we can find a big change is in a detail that many users have been asking for for a long time. As you well know, the Insta360's fisheye lenses are extremely exposed, which makes it quite easy to receive any bumps or scratches.
Even though the lenses are generally tough, there's nothing better for additional protection than being able to remove and replace in the event of an accident, and that's what they've included in the new model.
