The Logitech Astro A50 They have always been one of the most sought-after headphones by gamers. Their powerful bass, perfect sound balance and wireless technology have enamored everyone who tried them, and now, with the new fifth generation, they have solved one of the main problems: being able to use them regardless of the platform you play from.
Headphones compatible with Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC

Thanks to the new charging station with USB-C ports, the new fifth generation Astro A50 may Simultaneously connect to a PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, being able to choose the platform with a simple click. This way, if you have both consoles, you can switch from one to the other without having to change headphones, being extremely comfortable and eliminating all types of friction while playing.
This station has an integrated connector that will charge the battery of the headphones when we leave them resting on it, and some front status LEDs will indicate at all times which port is sending the sound at that moment.
Compatible with Dolby Atmos, we can enjoy spatial audio on all platforms, a sound quality that is improved thanks to the new drivers with live edge drivers, which avoid deformations and allow the diaphragm to move more freely. These drivers are made with graphene and are part of Logitech's PRO-G range.
As always, the headphones come with an integrated microphone, this time being a state-of-the-art model that works at frequencies of 48 kHzHeadphone calibration is done from the official app for Android and iOS, and you can also control the equalization through the Logitech Hub app for PC.
As if that were not enough, it is also compatible with Nintendo Switch and mobile phones, since we can connect the base via USB through the dock, or directly to the console using Bluetooth.
Differences with the Astro A50 X

The main difference between the new fifth-generation A50s and the A50 X is that the latter have a charging station that acts as an HDMI controller, since the consoles connect to the headphones with HDMI Passthrough. Additionally, the A50 X manages to deliver up to 24-bit audio on all connections, while the fifth-generation A50 stuck at 16-bit for consoles and 24-bit on PC. If you have your consoles connected to an AV amplifier, the A50 is probably the most suitable model, but if you have your consoles connected directly to the TV, the A50 X will make HDMI switching and audio selector easier.
