Panasonic's new OLED TV brings the best image and the best sound

Panasonic He has shown us the entire arsenal of products that he has prepared for this 2019, so we have approached his showroom so that they can tell us about the main novelties in their catalog. And taking into account the different sectors in which it is present, the visit has been more than entertaining.

Panasonic's new OLEDs arrive led by the GZ2000

Unveiled at CES, the new GZ2000 it is a very interesting OLED TV which is characterized not only by offering the best image, but also the best sound. On the one hand we have its fantastic OLED panel calibrated with 4K resolution, a screen that does not skimp on color details thanks to the calibration carried out by Stefan Sonnefield, a leading colorist in the Hollywood film industry who manages to achieve color precision never seen before. .

In addition, the television stands out for including the HCX PRO Intelligent processor inside, which among other things manages to give life to the systems HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG Photo, a trio present only on the market through this spectacular television. But if there is something really striking, it is that it offers Dolby Atmos, and we are not referring to a simple compatibility, but the sound system integrated into the equipment allows the user to enjoy superior surround sound without the need to use another type of speaker.

If we take a look at its back, we will see how behind the thin screen there is a kind of hump with very straight lines that hides a rear speaker that points directly to the ceiling. This speaker is in charge of bouncing the sound off the ceiling so that we have the feeling that the sound is coming from above, the main characteristic of Dolby Atmos.

Another excellent news is that Panasonic has expanded the OLED range, now offering a total of four models. After the GZ2000, we will also find the GZ1500, GZ1000 y GZ950, all 4K OLED and with the HCX Pro processor, although in the case of these three models only compatibility with Dolby Atmos will be offered, requiring an external solution to enjoy surround sound (such as the HTB900 sound bar).

As it could not be otherwise, in the review of the catalog we could also see the Lumix family, where the new S-Series it shone by itself. The first impressions have not been able to go beyond a first contact at the stand, but it has been more than enough to verify that the camera feels like a professional display (remember that it is the first full frame without a mirror from the brand ), a spectacular body that combined terrifyingly with the incredible 50mm f/1.4 lens (what a perspective from the viewfinder). This new S Series comes with two models, one oriented towards the photographer profile (Lumix s1) and another one more oriented for those also interested in the video (Lumix s1r).
