In recent times, PlayStation Plus has gained prominence thanks to its diverse selection of titles and the evolution of its subscription system. One of the most discussed aspects is its rotating catalog , similar to streaming platforms, thanks to the PS Plus simulator , which allows users to see in advance which games are added to and removed from the catalog.
This simulator is especially useful because the games available on PS Plus Extra and Premium don't remain forever; they have an expiration date after which they become inaccessible, even if the user maintains an active subscription. Therefore, it's essential to regularly check which titles are about to leave the service and make sure you don't miss out on any gems that might pique your interest.
How does rotation work in the PS Plus simulator?
The PS Plus Extra and Premium model is based on a system with games that are renewed monthly . The PS Plus simulator's function is to alert subscribers in advance about titles that will soon be removed, allowing them to better organize their playtime and prioritize those titles whose access will expire soon. This way, they can get the most out of their subscription.
For example, the most recent update announced a specific list of 14 video games that will be leaving the catalog on August 19th , on PS5 and PS4. Among the notable titles are blockbusters like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor , UFC 5, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and various installments of Sword Art Online, as well as family-friendly options and simulators such as Vacation Simulator: Back to Job and BugSnax.

All these games will no longer be available on PS Plus Extra and Premium from August 19th . Until then, any subscriber can add them to their library and enjoy them. After that date, it will no longer be possible to access the removed titles , regardless of the subscription duration.
PS Plus subscription plans and benefits
The PS Plus simulator is especially useful for those who are undecided between the different subscription plans available . PlayStation Plus is currently divided into three tiers:
- Essential: Access to online multiplayer, monthly games, and exclusive offers.
- Extra: All of the above plus access to the rotating catalog of games and Ubisoft+ Classics.
- Premium: collection of classic games, game tests, streaming in the cloud and all the services of the other plans.
The catalog's monthly changes mean you should keep an eye on the simulator to avoid missing out on great deals. Prices in Spain range from €8,99 per month for Essential to €16,99 for Premium, with the Extra tier at €13,99.
Many users regularly consult the PS Plus simulator to plan their games and decide whether to maintain their current subscription or upgrade based on available games and titles that will soon be leaving the catalog. Staying informed helps maximize value and get the most out of the experience.
The constantly updated game library on PS Plus Extra and Premium continues to attract players looking to experience a wide variety of titles without a long-term commitment. Using the simulator makes it easier to make informed decisions and not miss out on any interesting options.
