It was imminent, and it's finally been announced. Apple has confirmed that it will hold a new event at the end of this month, where we'll likely see a product that we couldn't have imagined from the Cupertino company just a few years ago.
It's show time
The apple house has announced that it will hold a new press conference on March 25. This is the first keynote of the year by Tim Cook's firm, an event about which, as always, we know very little -the invitation to the media, as usual, is quite concise- but whose motto allows us to glimpse what we will see about stage.
The announcement comes with a simple GIF featuring a countdown and a phrase that's a clear statement of intent: "It's show time ," which alludes to the content of the press conference. And what could it be referring to? Well, to the new TV service that Tim Cook's company has been rumored to be launching for some time.

As The Verge points out , rumors about an event at the end of March began to gain traction last month—although this possibility had been discussed for some time—always making it clear that Apple would focus on services rather than hardware, with a new TV content platform to compete directly with services like Netflix , HBO , or the upcoming Disney+ , as well as its new Apple News subscription service.
Clearly, the shadow of new AirPods looms over the invitation—a refresh is definitely due—as well as the possibility that the company will launch a new version of its most affordable iPad—again, given the timing, it could very well happen. Similarly, the long-awaited and much-delayed AirPower could also finally make an appearance after so many months of delay.
Interestingly, this isn't the first time Apple has used the phrase or tagline "It's showtime" to announce an event. John Paczkowski, editor of BuzzFeed, astutely pointed out on his Twitter account that the Californian company used the expression "It's showtime" to announce its September 2006 event, where it was announced that iTunes would begin offering movies and the first iTV was revealed, which would later be renamed Apple TV a year later, in 2007.

Is Apple running out of ideas at this point, or is this a nod to their event from 13 years ago? Either way, the important thing is that we have a date on the 25th, right here at The Output , where we'll tell you everything that happens on stage. Don't go far.
