There's a new watch on the market, and it's one that'll turn heads. Huawei has unveiled its Watch Ultimate , a model that stands out for its impressive specs and a design worthy of the most exclusive jewelry . Yes, we might sound like we're exaggerating, but that's because you haven't seen it yet. Here's everything you need to know.
Huawei Watch Ultimate, high-level design and performance
We could say that we have a new need in the world of smart watches: that of "extreme" models but that at the same time preserve an attractive aesthetic, moving away from the all-rounders of yesteryear that opted for a rough and robust body to justify all their benefits.
The Huawei Watch Ultimate is a prime example. This smartwatch, with its 1,5″ AMOLED display and 1000 nits of brightness, offers over 100 sports modes (18 of them professional) and boasts an Expedition mode , specifically designed for tracking outdoor activities. It's also water-resistant up to 100 meters. With normal use (and around 7 days with heavy use), it lasts up to 14 days on a single charge and comes equipped with every sensor imaginable, including heart rate monitors, electrocardiograms, blood oxygen saturation sensors, and sleep monitors.

With such a display, you might be imagining that it is the typical rather "rough" watch with a sporty air, but nothing is further from the truth. As you will be seeing in the images, the Watch Ultra looks like the typical traditional dress watch, thanks to a timeless design with an elegant dial, round case and very attractive links as a bracelet.
It should be noted that although it may therefore give a feeling of fragility, this smartwatch has introduced for the first time Liquid Metal, a zirconium alloy that gives it high resistance to withstand all the activities for which it has been designed and that is usually used both in certain aviation elements and in luxury watches.

A watch that is therefore interesting, which clearly looks at Apple's Watch Ultra -although, for example, it does not have fall detection, a major flaw if we consider the environment in which people who wear this device are going to move-, and It is not intended for a very active and demanding public.
Compatible with both iOS and Android, it has the HarmonyOS operating system and integrates NFC, although it can only be used to pay in certain countries - we do not know if Spain is one of them.
Price and Availability
The Huawei Watch Ultimate will be available in Voyage Blue and Expedition Black, though its price remains a mystery. Don't expect it to be cheap, though: given its resemblance to the Apple Watch Ultra, we should be looking at a price around €900. We'll see if we're right.
Regarding its availability, we don't know the release date yet. Don't worry, we'll let you know as soon as we find out.
