One of the most practical accessories you can buy for an iPad Pro is a keyboard. It allows you to take full advantage of its features; however, it's true that Apple 's "official" keyboards are generally quite expensive. Today, Logitech is launching its new alternative for the latest generation of this family, and—surprise!—it's much more affordable.
Logitech Slim Folio Pro for iPad Pro
Logitech regularly releases special accessories for Apple products, and that's exactly what they've just done with the third-generation iPad Pro in mind. The company has announced its new Slim Folio Pro keyboard case , available for both the 11-inch and 12,9-inch third-generation iPad Pro.
Designed to be as lightweight and adaptable as possible, the Slim Folio Pro completely covers the back of the tablet, with reinforced corners for added protection. It also features a unique closure : a magnetic tab that keeps the case securely closed and doubles as a storage compartment for the 2nd generation Apple Pencil. As you can see in the images, the case's design includes an opening so you can rest the pencil on the iPad while you're working and not using it, allowing it to charge.
Judging by the images, the keyboard seems to have good key travel despite being a case-type keyboard - I've tried other keyboards from the company for iPad and they are quite comfortable for typing - and it has adjustable backlighting , a feature that its "official" counterpart, Apple's Smart Keyboard Folio, does not have.
However, this isn't the main difference between the Logitech keyboard and the one created by the Cupertino company. Above all, there's its price: €100 cheaper , which is quite significant—we'll detail all the prices and comparisons a little further down. Other noteworthy features of the Slim Folio Pro include its three positions : Type (typing), Sketch (drawing, tilted), and Read (reading, fully folded); and, as you might have guessed, it connects to the tablet via Bluetooth.

Logitech's new keyboard case has just been announced in the US, so it will still be a few weeks before it arrives in Spain. Even so, it's already available for pre-order on retailers like Amazon (and it seems to be discounted), where it's indicated that it will be ready to ship from May 6th.
As for official prices, they remain as follows:
- Logitech Slim Folio Pro for iPad Pro 11 inches: $119,99 compared to $179 (199 euros in Spain) for Apple.
- Logitech Slim Folio Pro for iPad Pro 12,9-inch 3rd generation: $129,99 vs. the 199 dollars (219 euroazos in Spain) of the one manufactured by Cupertino.
