Kano has presented PC canoe, a new computer that you can build yourself through simple instructions and whose main novelty is the use of the Microsoft operating system. The new Kano PC comes with Windows 10 s and is designed for the little ones in the house.
From Raspbian OS to Windows 10s
Kano is a project that has been on the market for some time and offers computers based on Linux operating systems, specifically Raspbian OS. In this way, together with the use of a Raspberry Pi and some additional boards and components, anyone can build their own computer.
However, the main value of Kano is educational. Through a simple color scheme, it teaches the little ones how a computer works and how to build it. In this way, they not only learn at the software level but also at the hardware level, which would otherwise be more complicated.

After adapting to the changes and privacy requirements requested by Microsoft, the new Kano PC will arrive with the S version of Windows 10, which only allows you to install applications from the Microsoft Store.

Regarding hardware, the Kano PC has an 11,6-inch touch screen, an Intel Atom XZ350 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage expandable via micro SD. Then, in terms of connections, it has two USB ports (2.0 and 3.0), HDMI output and a 3,5mm headphone jack.
The educational value of technology
Kano's new computer is much more than just hardware and an operating system, in this case Windows 10 S. Thanks to this proposal, in the classroom and even at home teach the little ones how it works a computer, software, programming…
