When will the new M4 Macs be released?
We already know that it will be during the week of October 28, and there will be immediate announcements with an update to the Apple Store, without the usual events or keynotes. Leaks from some heavyweight analysts, such as Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, indicate that there may be a presentation event (which Apple could carry out via an online streaming) on October 30 or 31. This would allow the company to present the new devices just before its financial results announcement, scheduled for October 31. However, none of this has been confirmed, and considering how close it is, it is most likely that there will be no streaming at all.
As to market launch, sales and deliveries of the new Macs could begin on Friday November 1, or the following Friday, November 8, coinciding with Apple's usual times for launching its products shortly after presenting them.

What Macs will we see at this event?
The October event will be dominated by the new MacBook Pro, Mac mini and iMac, which will include the great novelty of the M4 processors. Now let's look at each of these models in detail:
Macbook Pro M4
One of the most anticipated models is the MacBook Pro with M4, which will be available in 14- and 16-inch versions. Rumors suggest that there will be no major changes to the exterior design, maintaining a similar look to the current models. However, a significant improvement in performance is expected thanks to the new versions of the M4 chip, which will include variants M4 Pro y Max M4 for those who need extra power. The MacBook Pro M4 will be sold as always in different configurations, leaving the most advanced versions for the 16-inch MacBook Pro with M4 Max.
Mac mini M4
After almost two years since the launch of the Mac mini M2, Apple is preparing a significant redesign for this device. According to leaks, the new Mac mini with M4 will be more compact, with a size similar to that of the Apple TV. In addition, the Mac mini will include a selection of USB-C ports, leaving behind the USB-A ports still found on the current model. Prices could start at around 800 Euros, while configurations with the M4 Pro chip could exceed the 1.500 Euros.
iMac M4
El 24-inch iMac It will also be updated with the M4 chip. Although no changes are expected in the design of the device, which will maintain its characteristic and colorful appearance, we will see a significant improvement in performance thanks to its new processor.
Possible surprises at the event
Aside from the new Macs, Apple is expected to make a few additional announcements at its October keynotes. These include: an update to accessories like the Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse to include USB-C ports, required by European legislation. No details have been leaked about new designs in these accessories, but the transition to USB-C it seems insured.
There could also be other surprises, as has happened at previous events, where Apple introduced devices that were not in the running. It would not be unreasonable to think that the company might try to surprise us with some new feature or unexpected model, but considering the volume of products arriving, it might be too much to expect.
What do we expect from the M4 chip?

El M4 chip promises to be another big leap in efficiency and performance for Apple's processors. With a Improved Neural Engine capable of performing up to 38 trillion operations per second, the new generation of Macs will be able to handle artificial intelligence tasks more quickly and efficiently. In addition, more advanced versions of the M4, such as the Max M4, will allow more professional users to perform highly demanding creative tasks, such as video editing or graphic design, more fluidly.
