CES 2019 is just around the corner (less than a month away!), and manufacturers like Samsung aren't wasting any time, already giving us glimpses of the products we can expect to see there. The Korean company has announced its new Notebook 9 Pen , a device already in its catalog that has now been updated, sharing a design with the Galaxy Note 9 and featuring a new size, among other things. Let's take a look.

Samsung Notebook 9 Pen: Features

Don't forget: Samsung also makes laptops and has models as attractive as the one being unveiled today. It's the Notebook 9 Pen, a 2-in-1 designed with inspiration from the famous Galaxy Note 9. Actually, the Notebook 9 Pen isn't new. The company already had this range in its catalog; it's just that now it has been updated, refining its appearance and offering more size options.

We thus find ourselves with a device featuring a 13-inch or, from now on, 15-inch screen, with a meticulously crafted aluminum metal chassis that shares the same Ocean Blue color as the aforementioned Korean phone. It is accompanied, of course, by its stylus , whose appearance will also be very familiar to you (it's yellow ) and which, once again, is elegantly concealed in the base of the device.

This stylus has reduced its latency by half compared to the previous generation and offers customization options, with interchangeable tips and is ready for taking notes or drawing, among other tasks.

As for the device itself, the new Notebook 9 Pen comes with the eighth generation of Intel Core i7 processors and promises up to 15 hours of battery life. It runs Windows 10 Home, and both models feature a Full HD display (with NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics and 2GB of dedicated memory in the 15-inch model).

We don't know the amount of RAM, but we do know it's equipped with a fingerprint sensor , facial recognition via its camera, AKG stereo speakers, and a backlit keyboard. As for connectivity , it includes two Thunderbolt 3 ports, one USB-C port, a microphone jack, and a slot that reads both UFS and microSD cards.

Availability and price of the Samsung Notebook 9 Pen

The exact release date is currently unknown, although Samsung has confirmed that both models (13" and 15") will be available in 2019 , presumably soon. The company's press release—which you can find in our Source—refers to the US market, but we imagine we should see them in Spanish stores before the end of the first half of the year.

Its price is a mystery, although for example the Notebook 9 range (without pen) is around 1.300 euros, so we imagine that the new generation should exceed that figure.
