What has the Microsoft Surface 2019 event been announced?
Less than 15 minutes has taken the people of Microsoft to introduce their teams. The first of these has been the Surface Laptop 3, the new laptop from the house, followed by the Surface Pro 7 (which finally comes with a USB-C port).
After that, the company surprised us with wireless headphones, the Surface Earbuds, and then went back to what it does best, tablets and 2-in-1s, to tell us about three more models that have been steadily increasing: Surface Pro X (with Windows 10X), Surface Neo and, boom!, the Surface Duo phone.

3 Laptop Surface
The company's new laptop is a product meticulously crafted inside and out. The device features an aluminum chassis (they promise fingerprints won't show) and even has no speaker grilles. Microsoft says they've put a lot of work into the design to deliver an attractive, clean, and minimalist product.
The keyboard also promises to be incredibly quiet, offering a truly excellent typing experience. The same is true of its trackpad, which is significantly larger than on other Surface devices for more comfortable gliding and control.
The internal components are equally impressive. Microsoft claims that the Surface Laptop 3 boasts a 10th-generation Intel processor , making it three times more powerful than a MacBook Air . This applies to the 13-inch model, while the 15-inch version is powered by an AMD Ryzen processor , specifically designed for this device, along with a fast-charging battery capable of reaching 80% charge in just one hour.
One of the most striking and attractive things about this equipment is the easy access it offers the user to open it and repair it or replace some of its elements, such as the hard drive.

You can find the Surface Laptop 3 in two versions: 13-inch, for $999, and 15-inch -Microsoft says it has listened to people's demands-, at a price of $1.199. They will be available, at least in the US, on October 22.
Surface Pro 7
Redesigned to offer users a new generation of Surface. Those who love using the stylus on their device and the versatility offered by the Surface Pro now have this new generation, whose most outstanding feature is perhaps the addition of a USB-C port (it was about time).
This 2-in-1 continues to mount a 12,3-inch screen, with its removable keyboard and Surface Pen digital pen.

The new generation Surface Pro 7 will be available starting October 22, starting at $749.
Surface Earbuds
Microsoft wasn't going to be left out of the wireless earbuds market , was it? The company took advantage of the event to unveil its new Surface Earbuds, a design that, whether you like it or not, at least offers a slightly different look. That said, we can't help but see them as a bit of a gamble, with a size that's perhaps... too large? We'll have to try them out to find out.

With the idea that in an office you can get much more out of headphones like this than you think, Microsoft has announced integration with Office 365, so that, for example, you can use it to take a dictation, among other actions directly related to the solutions. of the well-known package. Surface ProX
The Surface concept taken to the extreme. Microsoft has announced this new device, which is essentially an extremely thin Surface (measuring a crazy 5,3 millimeters and weighing around 760 grams), very powerful and with a minimalist design.
The 13-inch PixelSense display stretches virtually from edge to edge thanks to its very thin bezels. The panel boasts a resolution of 2.880 x 1.920 pixels (267 ppi) and a contrast ratio of 1.400:1.
Microsoft's new SQ1 processor , a chip developed "with Qualcomm DNA," boasts remarkably low power consumption (which will, of course, impact its battery life). Like its sibling, the Surface Laptop 3, it also allows for easy opening so you can replace its storage module.
And speaking of storage, we have to mention the Surface Slim Pen . This device also comes with a very thin digital pen that hides in a compartment between the keyboard and the screen (it's only visible when you open it; otherwise, it's perfectly concealed and out of the way). Other features include two USB-C ports and LTE connectivity.

Far from what you might think, the price of the Surface Pro X does not exceed $1.000. It remains at the symbolic figure of 999 dollars, being available in the month of November -again, we are always referring to the US market.
Surface Neo
A new product line has arrived within the family. We expected it to appear today, and it has. The new Surface Neo is here to challenge laptops with a rather unique dual-screen product.
The device is shaped like an ultra-compact laptop that, when opened, reveals two internal screens divided by a hinge —it's not a folding screen, don't get confused. Both allow simultaneous interaction with the content you're viewing, either using both as a single screen—we'll have to see how bothersome the hinge in the middle becomes—or with one complementing the other.

Not only that. The device features a very thin physical accessory keyboard that attaches to the back and, when unfolded over one of the screens, changes the information layout, allowing for an interactive top bar or even a virtual trackpad.
With a glass cover and weighing 650 grams, it boasts a thickness of just 5,6 mm. Inside, it runs Windows 10X , a new version of Windows specially developed for this dual-screen device—for example, if you click on a link sent to your email on one screen, it will open in the web browser on the second screen.
Price, versions and prices of the Surface Neo
The presentation gave the impression that it's still a very conceptual product (at times it appeared slow and clunky), and it's certainly not something we'll see anytime soon. Microsoft has announced that the Surface Neo will be available in the 2020 holiday season , meaning it's more than a year away.
Surface Duo
Did you think the Surface Neo was the big surprise of the day? Well, you were very wrong. Microsoft has left us all speechless by unveiling the Surface Duo, an Android phone . You read that right.
The company has announced its hybrid "phone and communication device" in a dual-screen, foldable device—essentially a smaller Neo with Android and calling capabilities. While technical specifications haven't been released, they have confirmed it will be available by the end of 2020, presumably at the same time as the Surface Neo. We'll have to be patient.
