In the last ten years, being State of Play 2025 has brought with it a lot of announcements and news for players of PlayStation 5. During an event of 40 minutesSony has shown off trailers for highly-anticipated titles, new installments in iconic series, and additional content for some of its most popular games.

Borderlands 4
Gearbox has confirmed that Borderlands 4 will be available as of 23th September 2025. The new installment promises a smoother gameplay, with no loading screens and an expanded world. In addition, a new game has been announced State of Play special event for spring, where more details will be revealed.,
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
The expected Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has confirmed its release date for the August 28th, 2025. A new trailer has shown a revamped version of the classic, with improved graphics and new stealth mechanics.
Days Gone Remastered
Sony has announced Days Gone Remastered, coming to PS5 on April 25th 2025. This version will offer graphical improvements, 3D audio options and support for the DualSense, as well as new game modes such as Permanent Death mode y Assault on the Horde.
Saros, the latest from Housemarque
The latest bombshell came from an internal PlayStation studio, HouseMarque, a game centered on the world of an alien colony that is threatened by a black hole. The gameplay will be clearly inspired by Returnal, although the company wanted to give it a different tone, hence the creation of a new IP that defines something completely new.
PlayStation Plus: New additions
As for the games that will be added to the catalog of PlayStation Plus, it was confirmed that from the February 18 they'll be avalaible Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, TopSpin 2K25 y Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Episode 1. In addition, the classic titles of the saga Armored Core will be added to PlayStation Plus Premium.
