Cyberpunk 2077

CD Projekt Red has released the first major patch for Cyberpunk 2077 (patch 1.1) and is the third since the game went on sale last December 2020.

In this new update, which is not only the biggest the game has received since its launch, it is expected to find the definitive solution to the problems of memory consumption and crashes that many users have suffered since they acquired the title.

So, if you still have the game because you did not decide to claim the return, you should know that you can update it and see if it really improves the experience or not. Of course, the patch that is available for the PC version, consoles and also for Cyberpunk 2077 through Google Stadia, has different weights. Depending on the platform, it can occupy from 1GB through GOG, 6 and 9 GB in the PC version of Steam and up to 16 GB in the console editions.

Anyway, the size of the file is the least of it. The important thing is that after applying the patch from CD Projekt Red they have managed to solve those problems that they claim to tackle. Because for many users experiencing certain crashes and errors has turned out to be disconcerting.

Along with major crash and memory management issues Other problems have been solved as well. which are described more exactly on the Cyberpunk 2077 page. Some of them affect specific missions and the open world, the interface, the graphics and achievements that can be obtained, etc. Without forgetting concrete improvements depending on which platform the game is running on.

A calendar to bring order to Cyberpunk 2077

This Cyberpunk 1.1 patch is the first of the two important ones that the developer company of the title will launch in the coming days. Now take the first and in February we will have patch 1.2.

From there, according to the update schedule shared by Cyberpunk 2077, multiple small updates will arrive with bug fixes and improvements along with free downloadable content and a new update for the next-generation consoles.

It will be a slow process, because until the arrival of 2022 they will be working non-stop. So whoever wants a complete and theoretically problem-free game will have to wait. But as we said, without forgetting that there have indeed been significant problems in the gaming experience, it is also true that others have been able to enjoy it a lot.

Maybe getting the game now is a good idea, especially since there are stores that have some interesting offers depending on the platform. For example, on Amazon you can find the Day One edition at a price of 49,99 euros instead of the initial 70 euros.
