Resident Evil 2 will hit shelves worldwide on January 25th, but fans of the series have reason to celebrate, as Capcom will release a playable demo of the full game on January 11th—just a few days from now. The bad news is that the demo will only last 30 minutes and can only be played once, so you'll have to make the most of every minute as if it were your last chance to play the game.

You are Leon S. Kennedy, a rookie cop on your first day at the Raccoon City precinct, a city that seemed like a great destination but ends up being our protagonist's worst nightmare. The story might sound familiar, but this Resident Evil 2 remake is going to be something completely different from what you played back in the day. Called '1-Shot', the demo invites you to start the entire adventure; however, after 30 minutes of gameplay, the game will end.

The demo will be available for both PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, so whatever your platform, set an alarm for the next 11th and get ready to have the most intense 30 minutes imaginable. You just have to go through the corresponding store on each platform to get the demo in a matter of minutes.
If you're thinking about devising a strategy to make the most of your time (as if you could dodge all those zombies that are going to eat you), the official PlayStation blog has published a series of tips and recommendations that you could follow to maximize your chances of survival.
Anyway, those 30 minutes will only let you play the first section of the game, so enjoy the match and keep your weapon fully loaded. You never know where a Licker might appear.
