the demons of DOOM They are perfectly recognizable beings that more than one fan can instantly identify no matter how complicated the scene is, but if there is a demon in particular that could summarize the history and evolution of DOOM, that is none other than Cacodemon himself.
A very limited piece

This nice doll has appeared in the official Bethesda store to allow all those fans of the Id Software saga to get hold of this magnificent copy of the cacodemon. It is a small figure of 7,6 centimeters based on the design of the Cacodemon that appears in DOOM Eternal, a flying demon identical to the original that we could see in DOOM but that underwent slight changes to look a little more current in the latest installment of the saga.
It is a collector's item that could be in high demand, since there will only be 800 pieces in the world, which can be reserved right now through the official Bethesda store. The doll arrives placed on a small pedestal, and has an interesting price of 29,99 Euros, so if you are thinking of a gift for Christmas, this could be a good option to consider.
What is the origin of the Cacodemon?

When John Carkman and John Romero were heavily involved in the development of DOOM, during the creative process they had lots of ideas around demonic beings, powerful weapons and a lot of black metal, but not everything came from their brilliant minds, as they took some license of inspiration in countless references.
That was the case of the Cacodemon, since as you can see, this peculiar spherical demon is tremendously similar to the monster that gave life to the cover of the Manual of Dungeons and Dragons Planes (Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, Manual of the plans), and is that the Johns looked at the design of the monster to start with the first sketches of what would be their flying demon.
