Every year, the National Museum of Gaming nominates a series of video games that aspire to enter its peculiar Hall of Fame, a list of games that, due to their transcendence and global impact, feel unique and of incalculable sentimental and cultural value. Well, the list of new candidates to enter such a select club is now official.
Preserving video game history
With the idea of preserving the history of video games, the National Museum of Gaming in Rochester, New York, is constantly working to find the most iconic pieces of recent decades. And on this occasion, it has selected a total of 12 proposals, of which only three will become part of the prestigious official list.
The candidates on this occasion are, as always, quite diverse, since there are games from many platforms and eras. We can find, for example, the mythical Asteroids from Atari from 1979, the unmistakable Metroid from NES or the amazing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. The complete list of candidates is as follows:

Of the twelve announced, only three games will be selected, and the result will depend on the open votes that will be held in the museum added to the jury votes. The results will be known on May 9, so we will have to wait until then to clear up any doubts. What would be your selection?
