Bad news for those who were waiting to start back to school with the new Mega Drive Mini. As reported by the SEGA, the console will delay its launch in Europe due to logistical problems that will prevent it from reaching the promised date on time.
Delayed Mega Drive Mini
Initially, the miniature version of SEGA's 16-bit console would hit stores on September 19, however, SEGA has announced that the final date will be October 4. Neither the United States nor Japan have been affected by the deadlines, only Europe being affected by the date change.

The announced reason mentions logistical challenges, since it seems that Europe and the Middle East will be difficult markets to bring the shipment of consoles on time. This has caused a delay of two weeks, placing the final release date for October 4, a date that weighs more with the change of month.
For the rest there are no other changes to highlight, so do not expect additional games with which to compensate for the extra days of waiting, because it will not happen. As you should know by now, the 42 Mega Drive games that will arrive with the console are the following:
