That is what it seems that Microsoft is proposing to us with this Minecraft Earth, a version supported by the augmented reality that aims to give the game a twist to make it even more fun.
The details are still quite scarce, although the company describes the version as a tool with which you can give complete freedom to creativity and with which you can share your own creations with other players. There is also talk of the possibility of giving life to new creatures that you can raise and that you can use to populate the constructions you make, although the most striking aspect will possibly be the multiplayer, since with the help of other friends you will be able to give life to pharaonic constructions with which to stand out in your own city.
To give you an idea, with Minecraft Earth, you will only have to look through the screen of your mobile to see the classic little pigs of the game running around the park in your neighborhood, or see how a neighbor is building a fortress close to home. You will have to explore the streets and corners of your city to find material and resources with which to build, and from there, give free rein to your imagination.
There will be no shortage of challenges and the appearance of enemies, so be careful that you will also have to watch over your life, since you will find more than one enemy along the way.

When will you be able to download Minecraft Earth?
At the moment, interested players can only register for the beta and wait for them to be chosen to be able to try the trial version in the coming months (Microsoft places it in the summer). Regarding the final game, the manufacturer has not given details about it, so you better be quick and sign up for the beta in the meantime.
If you complete the beta registration process, you'll get a free skin for Minecraft Earth and Minecraft Bedrock. To play the beta you will need a device with at least iOS 10 or Android 7, as well as an Xbox Live account with which to sign in.
