They turn Palworld into the real Pokémon with guns, but Nintendo knocks down the mod

Palworld Pokemon Mod

After selling 7 million copies in just 5 days (and only on Steam), the phenomenon of Palword It continues to sweep wherever it goes, to the point of removing Fortnite from the position of most played game on Xbox in the last week. But what exactly does this game have? And why is it hooking everyone?

Palworld, the phenomenon with an air of Pokémon

At Pocket Air they have found the wonderful new formula. This Japanese studio released Palworld last week, a nice open-world game that is something like a Pokémon Monster Hunter with the action of Fortnite. The mix, which already sounds explosive, has been a complete success, and you just have to look at the 7 million copies sold on Steam in just 5 days of life.

With an interesting price of 29 euros, the game is selling like hotcakes, and its playability and its amazing world of creatures are enchanting everyone who tries it. But if there is something that really is the secret of its success, it is that all of these creatures are irremediably reminiscent of those we could find in Pokémon, since, without being identical, they have features and design that inevitably invite us to think of The Pokémon Company.

The mod that everyone wanted to see

Palworld Pokemon Mod

Taking into account the characteristics of the game, it has been vulgarly called the “Pokémon with guns”, and it is precisely what every Pokémon fan has been looking for for years: more action than the saga has been offering since its inception. And the fact is that the mass of Pokémon fans is already of a certain age, and a little action with guns wouldn't hurt.

Well said and done. How could it be otherwise, the well-known modder Toasted Shoes has been in charge of creating the appropriate modifications to introduce the character of Ash Ketchum into the game as a playable character, so that, now, it would seem that we are facing a Pokémon game with guns.

And Nintendo didn't like it

But it was more than evident that this modification was not going to be fun for Nintendo, which, being true to its lack of sense of humor, immediately denounced the YouTube video that showed the first images of the mod in question.

Toasted Shoes confirmed that his video had been removed from his YouTube profile, and for now he will not share the files to avoid further angering Nintendo, although it is something he would like to do. So for now, the fantasy of seeing Ash destroy creatures with a trigger will have to wait.
