PlayStation is celebrating. The brand turns no less than 30 years old, and to celebrate they have organised a series of events to commemorate the last three decades and show their gratitude to the entire community. But among the displays of gratitude and celebrations, there is one image that has caught the attention of the most astute.

There we can see a UMD disk, the beautiful PS One, a PlayStation 3, the adaptive controllers and even the PSP Go.
When does it show up?
Despite having what we can call the first official confirmation from PlayStation, we still have no news about the presentation of the new console. Most likely Sony announces a State of Play very soon, and it may be just a few days before the conference is held. For this reason, the announcement of the conference could take a couple of weeks.
The 30th anniversary party
But back to the anniversary celebrations, PlayStation has prepared several things so that users can enjoy the brand in many different ways. For example, they have prepared a Spotify playlist where you can listen to soundtracks from many of the brand's sagas. Every month from October to January, music playlists will be released on practically all services such as Amazon Music, Apple Music and Spotify.
Some have also been launched board games simple, yet extremely eye-catching, inspired by the brand's icons. All of these games will be released in December, although they can be pre-ordered from today on the PlayStation website.
Finally, this weekend the doors of PlayStation Network will open so that online multiplayer is free for everyone. This way, users who do not have a PlayStation Plus subscription will be able to play multiplayer modes, and they will also be able to participate in the different tournaments that have been prepared for NBA 2K24, NBA 2K25, Madden NFL 24, MLB The Show 24, EA UFC 5, Tekken 8 and Guilty Gear -Strive-.
