Sony has announced a temporary PS5 sale that will allow you to buy the console at the best price it has ever had (although realistically, it returns to its pre-increase launch price). This is a discount of 50 euros which will be applied to both standard and slim models and will be available at all authorised retailers. In addition to this discount, the promotion also comes with discounts on many games, although many will take advantage of this discount to play the new next-generation FC 25.
PS5 at the usual price
Sony was forced to raise the price of its console in order to cover manufacturing costs and cope with the rise in component prices. This caused the attractive price of 399 euros to be modified to a new 449 euros, which became the cheapest offer since then. The model with a disc reader included now costs 549,99 euros, so many people took advantage of the last units available before the increase was applied.
Many months have passed, and although Sony has continued to sell consoles, many people have cancelled their purchases after the price increase. Fortunately, they can now fulfil their mission, as the 50 euro reduction restores the usual prices for a limited time.
You can take advantage of the offer until October 10th, which will be the last day it will be valid.
Games with discounts of up to 30 euros
In addition to the console, there will also be PlayStation-branded games that will take advantage of the opportunity to reduce their price with discounts of up to 30 euros. The selected games are the following:
- Marvel's Spider-Man 2 – Goes from €79,99 to €59,99
- The Last of Us Part 1 Remake – Goes from €79,99 to €49,99
- The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered – Goes from €49,99 to €39,99
- Rise of the Ronins – Goes from €79,99 to €59,99
- God of war ragnarok – Goes from €79,99 to €49,99
- Horizon forbidden west – Goes from €59,99 to €39,99
- Gran Turismo 7 – Goes from €79,99 to €49,99
Just like the console deal, this discount on games will also be available until October 10, so you better start doing the math and hurry before the promotion disappears. And yes, it's a good time to load up on a potential Christmas purchase, since you never know if there will be more discounted units like these.
