Just in time for the holiday season. Epic Games has announced the arrival of Fortnite's seventh season , a new campaign in which the Battle Royale will receive numerous new features such as weapon customization, planes, and a mysterious iceberg that will remain a big mystery until the end of the season.
In this new season, we'll be able to use the new ziplines that will take us to the highest hills of the new Arctic Airfield area , where we can board the new Stormwing aircraft , vehicles that also allow us to fire from the air. All of this is wrapped up in the same fun as always, frenetic and dangerous in equal measure, with many hidden secrets waiting to be discovered by the players.
Fortnite Season 7 rewards
As expected, the arrival of a new season also brings with it a new Battle Pass , which will continue to cost 950 V-Bucks (just under €10). This pack will immediately grant you two progressive outfits, Zenith and Lynx, which can be leveled up to unlock new styles. Another new feature is the addition of wraps , a new type of cosmetic item used to customize weapons and vehicles.
With this new addition, customization will go beyond the characters, so from now on we can get weapons and vehicles that are more in line with our clothing.
The creative mode as the main novelty
But if there's one thing that will particularly grab your attention, it's Creative Mode . Fortnite continues to evolve, and the game keeps adding exciting new mechanics to keep players entertained. The latest addition is Creative Mode, which offers complete freedom to create scenarios and experiences. Essentially, you'll have an island to unleash your imagination and build your own Fortnite.
These personal islands won't be available until December 13, but players will be able to get an early pass by purchasing the Battle Pass.
When does Fortnite Season 7 end?
Because this new campaign coincides with the Christmas season, Season 7 will last two weeks longer than usual, ending on February 28. The reason is simply the holiday break that Epic's developers will be taking for Christmas, which won't prevent updates with new items and challenges from appearing during that time.
