In a completely unexpected way, the Japanese manufacturer has released a review of its current Switch. Yes, the complete model with Joy-Cons and compatible with tele mode. The novelty is simply the battery, an element that, although they have not indicated how much capacity it has (the official website continues to show the 4.310 mAh of the original), will promise at least 4 and a half hours of fun, being able to reach no less than 9 hours of use in the best conditions.
To give you an idea, Nintendo ensures that playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild we can reach 5 and a half hours, when with the original Switch 3 hours are reached.

What differences exist between the models?
We have already said that aesthetically they will be identical, but what about the interior? The new console will continue to offer the same performance and potential, since they have not indicated anything about it. Most likely, this new Switch has the same processor as the Switch Lite, an optimized version of the Tegra that improves energy consumption, something that directly translates into the advantages that we have talked about before, but that does not translate into higher processing power.
Another novelty that the processor will possibly include is that the security hole that allowed home code to run on the Nintendo Switch will have disappeared, so these new models will not be vulnerable to code injection attacks, at least for now.

The price will remain the same and the market will gradually absorb the current stock until only the new model remains on the shelves. On the website itself we can see how the new console will arrive in Europe at late September.
