Quarterly tables filled with soporific calculations that would put anyone to sleep, with numbers representing games sold, consoles distributed worldwide, and estimates of next year's earnings . Is there anything truly important behind all these numbers? Well, wait until you see the conclusions you can draw from Take-Two's latest reports.
The release date of GTA 6
If someone told you that you could deduce the release date of GTA 6 from a table of sales estimates , you'd probably say they were pulling your leg, but that's exactly what happened with the latest report published by Take-Two on the financial results of the last year, a document that also discusses the estimates they have calculated for next year, and where one can reach a rather interesting conclusion: a big release is coming.
IGN was quick to spot the fact that Take-Two, while reviewing documentation, projected a total of $8 billion in revenue by fiscal year 2025. These are incredible figures, certainly within reach for a company like Take-Two. However, what's interesting is that they reported a total of $5.300 billion in revenue during fiscal year 2023.
If we analyze the data, knowing that they obtained 5.300 billion in the recently closed period, what exactly are they going to do to increase it by almost 3.000 billion? Easy, they are going to launch THE GAME.

In the words of the publisher herself, “In fiscal year 2025, we expect to enter this new era with the launch of several innovative titles that we believe will set new standards in our industry and allow us to achieve more than $8 billion in net bookings and more than $1 billion in unconstrained adjusted operating cash flow . ”
In other words, between April 2024 and March 2025, we should see several major releases capable of generating massive sales worldwide. And of course, if there's one game capable of that and more, it's none other than GTA.
As if that were not enough, the analysis adds that for fiscal year 2026 they expect to further increase operating results, so to go above 8 billion, a gigantic machine is needed that keeps users hooked, consuming as if there were no tomorrow. Did someone say GTA Online?
